Police in front of cocaine art

Police in front of cocaine art

One of the great things about the “war on drugs” is that it brings out the best in our heroic policemen and women. We don’t know if you’ve ever noticed, dear reader, but every time they make one of those drug busts their creative juices start flowing and we get these pictures of mosaics made of bundles of cocaine!

They must spend hours getting it right, often outside in the burning sun, making colorful figures, police logos and whatnot. The police banner in the background never fails either.

So we made a gallery for you, with highlights of the Panamanian police being creative with cocaine. Enjoy!

All the more chance to slip a brick into the old back pocket when one leaves the artistas alone for hours to work their masterpieces.

I can’t believe you didn’t make Wanker’s rougue gallery. You must be crushed.

Pic #6 looks like one of those confusing on-ramps to the Cinta Costera

My favorite is the last one. “No, you keep these handcuffs on and you’re gonna stand there in the middle in front of the car as our big trophy. And stay there until we’re done with the mosaic”.

I also wonder: Would it be possible to have a sort of “domino day” event with packs of cocaine?

We like you. Please like us too.
