Famous expat hangout Panama Current Events World, an online salon dedicated to literature and world events, is engulfed with sadness as one of its most esteemed members, Ron Davis a/k/a "Rony the Shetland Pony" departed today - for greener pastures, we hope. Davis, the founder of the successful "Fish Sex for Dummies" books and DVD series but otherwise a sensitive man, felt that his noted loose writing style no longer could compete with that of the big names who inhabit the membership list of what has quickly become one of the most distinguished virtual art communities of the Central American isthmus.

Long time members confessed to Bananama Republic that they felt sad about Davis' exit, and fondly remember the thoughtful essays he used to write, starting - and ending - for example with:"Whoeeee - wanna' fuck, fuckface???? Nahhh, you're too ugly, MM. [See what I mean, Randji?] Spank, spank. Ron Davis"
