What's Going On At La Estrella?

Weeks ago we went to the festive inauguration of the new printing presses of La Estrella de Panama and the Panama Star. Also inaugurated: The New Website. "We manipulate our looks, but never the truth!" boasted a video made for the occasion. Okay, the drinks were free. We're not complaining. But we wonder why the website, weeks later, still doesn't work? The English language section is inaccessible. The page is full of dead links. And it has been like that for weeks now, without any changes, indicating that apparently nobody is working on the site. What gives? We want our online news!

I would very much like to see this paper (Estrella) put together an English language section.
La Prensa are the only folks that I know of that have daily articles in English.

Folks, I want you all to keep in mind that nothing and I repeat nothing runs right in Panama. It is clearly seen in the population way of life. Don't build your hopes because as far as the mentioned newspaper expected change, we will probably will see it after january 2009. Let's hope and pray. That's Panama.
