The human side of La Prensa

Real estate alert! Remember Red Frog Beach Club? Trouble with SUNTRACS, trouble with environmentalists, trouble with the authorities, land disputes. Result: Virtually no work is being done and the project is basically dead. As in: Will never be finished. Next? Of course there is a next. Isla Viveros, in the Las Perlas archipelago.
La Prensa runs a story today about the "human side" of the legal problems Isla Viveros has run into. Those poor workers without jobs because of legal disputes between the owners. ANAM fining them for illegal sand extraction. And Luigi Argüelles was killed in a "confrontation" instead of being murdered in cold blood by a policeman. We love it when La Prensa rewrites history.
And where are PRD honcho Hector Aleman - a partner in the project - and André Beladina - French convicted swindler behind the project - in La Prensa's story? Probably been left out for humanitarian reasons.
