The US is expanding its base on Curacao, they're being kicked out of their Ecuador base shortly, they're sending out the 4th fleet into the Caribbean and of course La Prensa in Panama is blatantly preparing public opinion with bullshit stories for some sort of US military anti-drugs presence in Panama. But we need no longer be afraid of the Uncle Sam threat: The Russians are coming to protect us! That's right, Vladimir Putin successfully drew the line to the west in Georgia and now he'll draw it in the Caribbean too so that Venezuela's oil industry and the Panama Canal can continue to operate normally. The US, meanwhile, will have to withdraw its military from everywhere to be able to rescue its "free market" economy anyway. добро пожаловать, спасители!

There's no earthquakes in Panama, so they would have you believe. But they say that there was one at 12:30 this morning. The funny thing is everyone I have spoken to in the capital city was awoken at 12:30 by a very large BANG! since when are earthquakes loud? explosions are loud. big explosions can cause seismic shocks. hmmm
