Educational Publishers Discover Dirty Pharma Sales Tricks

Finally we can report some progress in our country's troubled education sector. The publishers of the school books have started a "No Corrupto Left Behind" program that, according to today's El Panama America, is bearing fruit. It works like this: They shower our underpaid teachers and school directors with holidays, dinner parties, gifts and cold hard cash in exchange for them to make their books obligatory study material in the school. You know, a sort of what rogue pharmaceutical companies do with doctors.
So, if your kid comes home telling you to buy one of those $120 shitty books because it's all of a sudden mandatory, you know where that comes from. Of course there's also all kind of kickback schemes and other such typical folkloric Panamanian stuff going on. We just know that the diploma mill guru of Panama, University rector Gustavo Garcia Paredes, is behind all of this, but El Panama America stops short of naming names and numbers. Progress! Si se puede!
