"... And so I face the final curtain...."

Old people, who doesn't know them. They take forever in shops. You have to yell at them or they won't understand you. They do nothing all day. In Panama they respect old people. Children take care of their parents. But we from the civilized world aren't set up like that, so, what to do with your old folks when you move to Panama? Sam Taliaferro has a new idea: He wants to start a senior care center in Boquete.
Just as I recognized the potential Panama offers for residential development, I now see another opportunity on the horizon, one that may be even more lucrative – senior living and care centers.
The senior care industry includes independent living facilities, assisted living residences and skilled nursing care centers. Each year, the number of people requiring assistance in their daily living increases and, critically, so does the costs of providing this assistance.
But, Sam, what to do with them when they die? Fly'em back to where they came from? Hand them over to Panamanian undertakers and their third-hand funeral cars? So here's another business opportunity: A high-end corpse burning facility, also known as a "crematorium". Put it right there next to the care center, maybe some trees around it to make it more discrete and one has of course to take the prevailing winds into account as well. Buy a CD with Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and other funeral hits and you're in business!
